This was Aly's work in September 2022. He had a very good pencil grip and is a very talented artist. The task was to pick a fruit and tell why it was his favorite. At that time, he had difficulty understanding the instruction and expressing his thoughts well enough for me to write it down on a dry erase for him to copy.
This was Aly's work in April 2023. The task was to pick an animal from the book and tell something about it. He copied the picture from a model displayed on the Smartboard. He dictated what he wanted to write and the teacher wrote it in lower case on a dry erase. The teacher would like to know if he remembers when to use capitalization.
Aly has also shown behavioral progress. With maturity and classroom routines, Aly is able to initiate, maintian, and complete classroom tasks.
